The ceramic kit includes:

•1.5 kg of ceramic clay packaged in a zip-lock bag. The clay is pliable and ready to use. This amount is easily enough to make a mug with a plate.

• 5  wooden tools for shaping and decorating

•Wooden rolling pin  30 cm for rolling out clay

•2 guides  30 cm for achieving even thickness

•Sponge for smoothing details

•Cotton cloth for working on the table

•Step-by-step instructions with inspirations

•Aesthetic, ecological gift box

Additional options (to purchase separately):

•Ceramic glazes – for finishing and protecting works after firing

•Ready-made templates (coming soon) for making a mug, bowl, vase – ideal for beginners or those needing inspiration

After drying, your pieces should be fired for an additional fee in a ceramic kiln according to the attached instructions for BISCUIT at approx. 900 C.

You can use a nearby ceramic workshop or send them to us, at Magia Gliny (firing prices are listed in the kiln firing tab). Works must be well protected before shipping to avoid damage. 

The next stage after firing is decorating, which means painting the mug with paints or glazes, which then need to be fired again in a ceramic kiln at 1050 C or 1250 C, depending on the application.

To decorate ceramics, i.e., biscuit, you can purchase complementary kits from me:

• DIY glaze kit or
• DIY underglaze paint kit with transparent glaze to protect the drawings on the piece.

The finished pieces after glazing are fully functional and can be washed in a dishwasher!!
